Belle and the Beast sent an invitation that arrived very early in the morning, but we had to get up and going to make our dinner date!
Belle and the Beast invited Q to dinner tonight, so we are off to Disney World!

It's a beautiful thing!
Got this e-mail today, and it made me smile. First time seeing it in print.

Scooter found his!
That tricky Easter Bunny!
And so it begins…
This is just one of the reasons B loves his big sister and why having a loop in your house is key!
Wisdom?
I decided to pass along a tidbit I heard in our awesome Complimentary and Alternative Medicine class to Quinlynn at dinner last night. It goes, “Put a rainbow on your plate at every meal.” Quinlynn immediately quipped “and poop it out!” No fooling this child. But hey, if she’ll eat a rainbow in hopes of seeing some colorful excrement, I’m okay with that.

It’s “ma ma ma ma” and “da da da da” all day long. I love it! Such a fun age. Don’t mind the red cheeks; he got into something his sensitive skin doesn’t like.
This little turkey is obsessed with sucking on my sweatshirt strings. He steals them every chance he gets.

I often get questions from people about some of the products we use for cooking, cleaning, and just plain old living. We’ve tried a lot of different stuff since both of our kids have eczema, we eat as natural as possible, and we attempt to be environmentally friendly. The following items are things that are tried and true in our household and are either on our Amazon list for regular...
Reflecting
Rank list submitted! Even though I’ve contemplated moving a program or two on principle alone and occasionally felt a small stab of guilt for not ranking those with the last minute calls and e-mails higher, I haven’t changed it any from my original entry.
Seeing the night sky out of our bedroom window tonight reminded me of sitting under the same night sky on a rock in Harlech,...
The real reason child seats were invented… restraint for torture!
There is no better sound in the world than my kids’ laughter!

Tax Questions Answered
Okay, for anyone trying to deduct your interviewing expenses on your federal tax return this year, I have some answers. I’ve read the tax code (I am still a CPA in case you’re wondering), called the IRS, and consulted with a mentor of mine who is a tax professor for Penn State, a Principle within an accounting firm, and someone who’s been doing taxes longer than I’ve...
As Dr. Seuss says,
“Now let’s talk about money!”
I’ve been in an interesting situation lately, as many people have “consulted” me regarding their finances and financial future. Recently, it’s included everyone from multiple classmates, coworkers, and family members. It’s always fun to be a part of helping others to evaluate their finances and plan for both their...
New Discoveries
In the past month, Bastian has figured out a lot of things, including where his feet are and how awesomely fun they can be to play with. Tonight, when all of toys were removed from his tub, he looked down and discovered something else for the first time. After swiping and missing a few times, he managed to get a hold and tug multiple times in an attempt to get it closer for inspection. Finding...
Hidden Talents
Seth is gifted (in many ways!) in that he can flip his tongue completely over in his mouth without using his hands. He’s able to do it to both sides quite quickly. I have no idea when he discovered this, but I doubt it was at 5 months of age. Recently, Bastian also discovered that he possesses this ability, and he’s proud to show it off anytime he can. Instead of conversing and...
